LDF 23: Official Stationery Partner

We are honoured to continue our collaboration with the London Design Festival as the official stationery partner for 2023. In a celebration of community and creativity, we teamed up with LDF and Pentagram to produce a limited edition Yuzu Notebook.

Since 2007, Domenic Lippa and his team at Pentagram have produced the visual language for each iteration of the Festival - responding to and anticipating, trends in design and typology.

’We approach each edition with excitement and enthusiasm. I have always believed the reason we've been able to create new directions for the Festival is that different designers have contributed to the process over the years,’ Lippa says.

This year the identity draws on Domenic’s love for film and Television titles - ‘I love the way films can stretch one's experience and be dramatic in its form. The more acute and extreme the angles of these designs reflect the power and strength of the Festival itself.’

The LDF logo was screen-printed in white onto our red cover board and then debossed with the 'LDF23’ graphic created by Domenic Lippa and team at Pentagram Design.

The covers were then applied by hand to our signature dot grid Yuzu notebooks before guillotine trimming. Each book is then wrapped in a custom banderole and signed by its maker.

A special thank you to the team at London Design Festival, Domenic Lippa, Florent Gomez-Siso, Edie Lippa and everyone at Pentagram + the Pith production team: Sam Stokes, Sean Whitty and Lyndsey Morris.
